MENTAL DIETS / How and who’s been feeding YOUR IDEAS ?
by Michele Bitencourt
Hello Everyone ! Have you ever thought that what goes into our minds can be considered as a mental diet ?
Speaking of that lets do some thinking :
How am I observing ?
True interpretation requires careful observation .
When a person is expressing an opinion ( their interpretation ) or when there are words coming out of their mouths I like to ask:
Does this person have clarity ?
Or it is analyzing things in a biased way ?
Is this person an expert in this field where I saw amazing results in her/his life from what she/he is talking about ?
Is this person distorting, erasing, cutting parts of this narrative to fit some sort of group or final objective or these are actual facts ?
You can’t do careful observation when your AURA is filled with biases.
We are all involved with problems and questions that can be highly complex, and that involve a huge mass of information, from people, from interpretation, interests and depending of who you are talking to, even technical terms.
That’s why I learned how to develop careful observation, and that means searching for a superior comprehension of contexts towards challenges and life questions.
Developing the ability to analyze “ things “ as much as in comprehensiveness as in depth.

Trying to understand the “ butterfly
effect” of the smallest actions and decisions in complex contexts. And NEVER following a “ cake recipe “ in order to understand situations and it’s complexities.
Does that mean we need to become philosophers?? .... no....just stop and take a step back when we understand/notice there is a “judgment” rather than a “comprehension”.
What I am proposing here is that we need to strive to address situations with enough energy and not to be “lazy” to use our brain; to engage in research; and to give the best of our comprehension, in a way that we will not find the perfect solution but we will have surrendered to a worthy true search of it, even if we don’t find answers.
A lot of growth will come out of it. We will learn new ideas and it will expand our inner world in ways we have never imagined.
Again,
True interpretation requires CAREFUL OBSERVATION...
Do I see it clear ? Or are some things biased ?
Nobody can do careful observation when their CORE is filled with biases, because anything said or done it will always going to be seen by the LENS of your biases ... that are rotted in your:
fears
beliefs
life experiences
traumas
toxic family dynamics
crystallized ideas
perspectives
just to name a few...
Some people say they will rely on their intuition or gut feeling, sometimes FORGETING to question if any of those are being affected by some strong wrong beliefs that made you feel like it. In other words when your mind is made up, your intuition is not working properly. Your energy field is populated with those thoughts, that mental diet.
Now is it healthy ?
Is it an accurate perception of the reality?
Are you aware of the majority of thoughts that are in your head ?
Some people see something undesirable and they make a bunch of negative assumptions on whatever this thing is, as they form a whole perception about it and then they attack the person, communities, ideals and etc.
Every judgment is a confession so the words that come out of your mouth say much more about you than the other

Food for though...
