Great Advertising

by Michele Bitencourt

Some insights on a documentary I saw called

Presenting the product to the world:

1. If you can find that core, of what that product really is, talk about it in a strong, memorable way

SAY THE RIGHT THING, THE RIGHT WAY

To get a person to do something you want them to do, and it will get a lot of attention of a lot of people too.

You need to CONNECT with them FIRST
You need to GET TO THEM

Creativity

We've only just begun - the song written by the Carpenters. Reflects people's lives and do it in a way that touches them.

Seller & Entertainer

A Visionary

He thinks about what they want to see before they know what they want

Think about something outrageous, a little crazy

You can manufacture any feeling you want to manufacture

You can create any feeling that you want people to have

Sensing is the gift of advertising

Can you sense what it will turn you on?
Mantra: BRUTAL SIMPLICITY

And that is " please simplify your ideas " and " insights "

Great advertising

Great advertising it always starts with something TRUE

Like the GOT MILK truth : you have cereal, strawberries and you need the milk, that's the truth : you don't have the milk.

You have a certain amount of time to do it and you need to do it in a quality way and connect with some entertainment form.

Adding some things that you experience as a person and things you and others experience too all at the same time.

MASS FEELING not too many things offer that in life

Fail Harder concept
Choose the easy or the hard way

His words are:

I missed more than nine thousand shots in my career, I've lost more than 300 hundred games. Twenty-Six times I've been trusted to take game within shot, and missed. I failed over and over and over again in my life and that's is why I succeed !!!

Creativity, Intuition, Trust, Bravery

Strong ideas simply presented where the real risk is to be willing to try to be authentic.

Asking yourself:

How are you going to turn people on?
What are you going to do to convince the client to buy your idea?
To convince them to do things that are not like them?

Something you want to be part of like the "Frogs" in the Budweiser Campaign.
It has nothing to do with the product but you want to be part of it. I am part of this group, community that get's their humor.

Branding

Here is where you are giving a sense and responsibility to the client of WHO they are. NOT ONLY WHAT YOU ARE SELLING.
You can be more than a pet company, you can aspire to loving dogs more than just feeding dogs.
Finding that emotional and true connection.

Passion and Intensity

Any competitive person is driven by wanting to prove something. By creating something revolutionary. Mostly known by the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers...

The only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things, they push the human race forward.
The people that are crazy enough to think that they can change the world are the one's who do.

Power of emotion, move people by emotion

What they are buying is what they wish their life to be

HOW THEM WISH THEIR LIFE TO BE, AND YOU ARE CREATING THAT AND IT IS SO ATTRACTIVE
